uh, yeah
So I started this thing and haven't posted since June. I know, I know, I did this so that I can keep in touch with people who don't need to hear the, um, fangirling and whatnot I do at the other place, and even to show a little intelligence maybe, not in evidence yet, and I haven't really touched it.
So just to date this whole thing, everyone should attend Tafelmusik's Ovid thing on Saturday at Third Ave United. Tickets are $25, but it's Tafelmusik, so.
Then on Tuesday (the 7th, not tomorrow) a King's prof (HOST, since you asked) is giving a lecture on science and ethics at U of S. A visit to the creperie in Place Riel will precede my attendance, so even if you don't want to hear about public good/private profit, you can still chill.
I'll link things when I'm less lazy.

I don't feel capable of posting to the William Morris thing, apart from my well known love of all things in the "arts and crafts cottage" tradition. Well thought out, is all I can say.
